But if you don’t have time to devote to achieving the top status, then why do you care about the top status? A reset will wind up in the same place: it won’t magically give you more time in your day than those players, that’s a factor of your life, not FWZ.
So in short order, they’ll be back to the top, ‘cause they have the time to do it, and everyone else will be where they are right now. |

Not a bad idea. Plus, since apparently there’s A LOT OF CHANGES IN EP. 2, resetting everyone lets us experience that. Plus even playing field when trolls get unnerfed |

I posted this in the other “leader board” thread, but will post it here, too. Any full wipe reset will be met with upset – witness the fuss when it was first announced that Dom was going to be reset. There was a pretty solid “well, what’s the point then?” feeling. Any game out there would like old time players while bringing in new ones as well. It does no good for the old players to wander off, because frankly they bring in a lot of the new players. Why bother putting in any effort beyond finishing the basic game, if there isn’t any actual reason to do so?
However, a monthly (or whatever) reset, similar to the one used for the Domination season could be very cool. Leaderboards wiped and you only pop onto a leaderboard with newly earned stuff, but that stuff adds to your old total. Ex: reset happens and during that day a new person posts in one of nana’s threads, but no one posts in one of Lara Croft’s. Because Lara Croft hasn’t seen any new posts in the new season nana is on top. Of course as soon as someone new replies to one of Lara Croft’s posts he will be back on top. |
