Man I like fell asleep writing that stayed up last night lol you can tell. Ok, anyway I haven’t even told you the story yet. Ok but first let me say on a positive note we had two consecutive spikes and were thirty points over thanks to some other idiot deciding we need a lure when I specifically tell everyone not too in all caps on the bank forum. Also those two did manage to find a very crucial copper pipe and nuts and bolts we really needed and our estimate for tonight was already met yesterday so you take the good, you take the bad, and there you have the facts of life.

But let me tell you about this dude. I say dude your my dude you’re doing so good; I just got brothers in arms so let me give you a hero day so you can go guardian you and your life-partner can go uncover some squares together.

Ok so the day before we talked about it and changed the plans around some because we couldn’t do exactly what we initially wanted to do but we worked it out and had a solid plan laid out with what we could well before he left and we all understood each other or so I thought.

I says ok well we got food an water and look there is a space marked only twelve hours ago with an alcohol and a parecetoid and some other stuff. I specifically make a post to say now you guys remember that drug doesn’t restore :ap: ok? Leave it there and grab it on the way back if you can.

Ok so the modified plan ended up being he goes out twelve and the other dude goes out with him halfway and auto-searches an unexplored zone 6 spaces away. The guardian continues out 6 more spaces with his arsenal, sets a couple radar beacons, and goes back to escort the other dude home. Should the guardian not make it and become trapped he HR’s back to town and can now use use his remaining ap to go out from town to the other guys location and escort him back. Fool proof. ...not quite.

So later I get on and they are both ten spaces out auto searching and I’m like wasup he wasn’t supposed to go that far.

Dude is like oh no we got a drug so we can just both go out 12 now it is cool.

I’m like oh cool wait just tell me you didn’t take the parecetoid thinking it is gonna restore ap because I explained that.

We were posting every few minutes before and about half an hour goes by.

Oh yeah, we both read you said that but I guess we just forgot.

I’m like ok they ****ed up oh well I got this one. I’m like I got this dude just don’t go any farther auto search and when you’re ready to come back you guys travel two spaces back and use your waters. Travel six more and you’re only two away from town. You then drink the alcohol go to town and you can use rescue on him. No sweat.

He’s like well that won’t work because we left our waters 5 spaces from town (why five and not six I have no idea) so we could just get them on the way back so we would more have space to carry stuff back we just have the alcohol and the parecetoid.

Pretty sharp these dudes huh?

So I’m like **** give me a minute. Then I’m like well you could both travel back two spaces (8 out) and the waters will be three away (5 out). Then you take the alcohol and travel three get the waters and bring them to his square where you both drink them and get back within two spaces then I guess someone else can go two spaces out and give you an unlabeled drug you’ll have to risk it but you can probably get back and use rescue him – but continue auto searching for now. Just don’t move; tell me what weapons you have and whne your last auto search will be I’m going to scheme on this and I’ll get back to you.

So that we did. This was a few hours before 2300.

I come back and say ok I got it all planned out now…

Plan A: You find drugs or alcohol in your auto search you can just come back.

Plan B: You find a couple weapons or certain furniture and he can take the alcohol and make it to the waters by himself he can this specific route and you HR back to town and go back out to meet him at this location etc.

Plan C: (this was better than the old one because it did not require a third person but still used unlabeled drugs so it was a last resort) Use seeker and get a water to give to him then you both head back grabbing that water along the way; you get to town with 4 :ap: grab the drug give it to him and go back.

I had all that up by 21:37. He had a good hour to go over it.

22:21 he posts telling me he sees somebody has put a twinoid in the bank. I hadn’t noticed it. This in effect renders plan C well ABSOLUTELY ****ING PERFECT because he can come get the twinoid instead of the unlabeled drug everybody gets back with no risk involved whatsoever.

Ok this is all me retelling at this point; nothing has been quoted. Let me actually quote you his plan so I can do his stupidity justice. (This is the first mention of the twinoid by the way so I had no idea what he was talking at this point because he doesn’t explain it.)

So we have a brief exchange. I’m like what twinoid did you find one or something? And he posts back and I’m checking out **** and reading his **** but I’m getting ready to close the gate so I got this sense of urgency so I glance over what he’s saying and it seems like he’s at least thought this out so I’m like yeah sure whatever 22:33 then I’m like wtf no wat at 22:36 do it right rereading it like oh **** 22:40 he comes back drunk oh sorry bro too late I already went ahead with well I’m like **** dude just don’t use both drugs and I mentioned to him before we do use any unlabeled drug at all let me at least try to use my rescue. I didn’t think it’d work because I gifted him a hero day on that same day, but I wasn’t sure so I told him just let me try to make sure. So I re-mention it to him at 11 minutes till. The other dude who is obviously the better half here reads this and posts at 7 minutes till ok I’m there try seeker. And I’m all over that **** I have him and responded back at 6 minutes till. Notice we’re cutting it close?

The dude goes outside.

He goes ****ing outside.

5 minutes till he is in town from HR takes the unlabeled drug, gets hooked, and goes outside

I pulled his buddy in the instant he got there even before he asked. We’re talking well over 90 secs to at least check. To glance. To refresh the page. See if he is at least out there. He went to the gates and clicked go outside where you see map and peoples locations before clicking again to go outside and went outside at five minutes till. He didn’t mention he was hooked of course until he got back in.

I know watching other people playing Die2Nite sounds kinda boring, but this video shows quite some good tips regarding dealing with zombies in the World Beyond and those weird zombie respawns that happen when you kill too many of ‘em.

I feel pretty uneasy about this you guys. I have literally carried like 20+ retards to day ten and we may last another five. When they get done here they’ll be graduating to distant regions. I’ve upset darwin’s natural order.

Day 19? That’s pretty rad. Sucks that a lot of towns (including those that made it to day 26/27) won’t count for season 1. The admins did a pretty sloppy job with season 0 towns not counting for season 1.

Oh well I just contradicted myself. Check that last cap I posted it is some good ****. One dude had been addicted for like four days and another just got infected. You see it would have worked out cuz I had a parecetoid and another guys just found one but there were no other drugs in the bank — so being the nice guy I am I slip addicted fabulous person mine and say here just take it there’s one in the bank for infected fabulous person. Being a totally cool dude at this point. And addicted fabulous person just retards out on me big time and I make fun of him a little cuz he puts it in the bank for like no reason and he gets all bumhurt which is kind of very special and kind of offends me cuz I just hooked the dude up and both dudes were gonna be ok no problem right? But I’m like **** it cuz meat-bone-eating infected fabulous person is TOTALLY ****ING CLUELESS and addicted fabulous person is just ungrateful and too very special for words. So I’m like screw these idiots then and tell infected fabulous person he has to take both that is why addicted fabulous person put in bank thus he goes from infected to perfectly ok to hooked and there is no medicine left for addicted fabulous person and they both die when it could have been easily prevented.
