Seriously though, it’s gonna be awesome. The PW series has been quiet for too long. Now where is our fifth game in the main series, Capcom!? I always buy your PW games, even when I own an R4. Gimme my mother****iner Phoenix Wright. |

I’ve been playing this off and on for the past couple of days. It’s much better than Apollo Justice.
MUCH BETTER. |

I kinda liked AJ, but his hair was pretty gay. The cases were pretty good too, but maybe I’m just easily amused, I haven’t played a case in the whole series I didn’t like.
But yeah, I played the computer preview version of this on the website, it is better. Is Phoenix gonna be back? Log in to see images! |

I’m only up to the third case at the moment, and so far Phoenix has only been referenced pretty much as “that guy.” Gumshoe and Franziska naturally return, as does Maggey Byrde. |

I should have known better than to think they could get through a whole game without Wendy Oldbag popping up out of nowhere. My agony was immeasurable. |

Currently on Case 4, and whilst its nowhere near as awesome as AA and JFA, its at least FAR better than AJ.
JFA > AA > T&T > ME:I > AJ |

Yeah, the cases are nowhere near as interesting and unpredictable as the Phoenix Wright ones, but I really like the graphics and animations in this game. And they’re really running out of clever/original names. Deid Mann? Really? |

At least “Cammy Meele” even plays into the character’s personality. But I don’t think any gag name in the series is better than Winston Paine. |

I thought Luke Atmey was clever, didn’t notice the play on words until the second playthrough, but maybe I was just being incredibly very special because it sounds really obvious now. >< Same with Glen Elg and Lisa Basil, wasn’t aware they were palindromes. Winston Payne is a pretty good one though. |

Oh ****, is this game out now?
I’ll have to pick up a copy pretty damned soon.
So, considering it plays more like a traditional point ‘n’ click adventure judging from the demo, does it still feel like an ace attorney game? King Krimson edited this message on 03/21/2010 5:25PM |

Well, you still get to ‘cross-examine’ people, they just don’t call it that, since technically you’re not in a court.
Edit: Wait, if you played the demo you probably knew that. Log in to see images! Nevermind, and yes, it still felt like AA, just with better graphics and animations.
I’m sad that I finished it so quickly, as I waited for it to come out for months. Still, great game, Edgeworth’s awesome. Now I get to wait for PW5, I miss Feenie. ms-karen edited this message on 03/21/2010 5:38PM |
