Caleb’s worst fear is that he will die alone.
As he ages he feels it becoming unavoidable. He’s not sure he wants to wait to find out. Sometimes he goes to bridges and looks into the waters.
If it looks like he’s at peace, he’s not. He knows he won’t be until he jumps.

Once, Caleb actually tried to kill himself. He decided to try and overdose on pills. He didn’t know what to try and overdose on, so he went to his local supermarket and just bought the cheapest large container of capsules he could find. This happened to be a bottle of Vitamin C supplements, and all that happened was he had ferocious diarrhea the next day.
A failure even at dying, all he could do for a week was cry and go over all the horrible things that have happened to him in his lifetime. |

When Caleb was a young lad he wanted a puppy more than anything. He had to settle for a hamster. Damn hamster never did learn to catch the frisbee. |
