ok. So I wrote that article in good faith and although I LOVE the drama it has spawned I have to say: skyman, get off your damn horse and look around you. This isn’t some conspiracy to make you feel bad. This is essentially a bunch of fun, funny people having a good time on the internet and sometimes being mean to people who aren’t as good at being funny. There is not conspiracy. You’ve seen the GGM forum for heaven’s sake; it’s dead as anything. I wrote that more to stop noobs from coming in and adding one more pointless “troll” to the already beaten-to-death troll community here. I am ALL FOR people coming in and being funny and creative.

Sometimes I read good threads and then right in the middle of them is someone being all ‘hey look it’s the cool kids circle jerking again’ and I think to myself “wow, that just completely ****ed up that thread”

so that makes me wonder: maybe if every attempt at posting wasn’t met with that bull**** flamebate wouldn’t be so crappy, eh? Maybe not super active, but at least not crap.

PS cool kids club doesn’t exist, it’s just whoevers active and is willing to participate in group activities and isn’t a complete tool

It might just be because I didn’t grow up in a communist society, but I don’t like fort’s guide. Rule 1 is “Be Funny” but humor is too subjective. Rule 2 suggests if you make a dumb mistake beg forgiveness apologize and stop posting until you know the community, so you better know everything before you even look at flamebate. Rule 3 says make short posts, so I guess people should avoid topics that involve a lot of thought. Rule 4 I just don’t understand the wording at all. From what I get it says to avoid making threads (best leave that to the good posters) and if people are mean to you then you should leave.
