A thread for smokers to discuss favorite brands, prices where you live, and how much or not so much they smoke. My excuses if this thread is already around.
Been smoking for half a year now. Makes the snorefest of life more worth living. Personally I love these ****s:

Lucky strikes are ****ing great!
when im smoking cigs themselves I smoke Richmond super-kings (the base price for them is now 2.50 for 10.)

Also, I picked up the habit in Germany, 2000, back when smoking was allowed while you were on the line to order food at a fast food joint. I was going to Uni, about the only place you couldn’t smoke was in clbumes during clbum, and 3m by 3m “no smoking zones” in some buildings. I figured I was taking in a pack a day secondhand, why not enjoy it?
I smoke Marlboros when I’m flush, self-rolled Bugler blends when I’m skint. They were like 5,00DM at the time, which was roughly $2.50. Now it’s a $5.52 a pack, and I’m just off a pack a day.
I’ve “quit” about half a dozen times. First time for 3 months, **** got insanely rough at work, re-started. Second time for 6 months, friend died and ****ing everyone who knew him was a smoker. Kind of concerned that my quitting is a jinx, so I’m keeping the habit for the good of those around me. |

I don’t understand people who hate smokers.
I myself don’t smoke because I’m too cheap, and don’t see any benefits in starting to smoke.

Started smoking in high school and have been chain smoking since. Never really had a good excuse for it, just enjoyed it. Now I smoke because a) I like it b) It helps with my anxiety c) I’m horribly addicted. |

I smoke Camels. Generally Camel Filters, but my favorite are Camel Turkish Royals (they’re harder to find here. Turkish Gold is an okay second place). I only smoke a few cigarettes a day, I’ve not developed an addiction yet and I hope I don’t. When this job is done, I’ll probably be smoking less anyway. Cigarettes are expensive here. Most brands are about $7/pack. ****ing New York sin taxes…. |
