Design My New Avatar - Win 3 to 5 BP

Hi, folks. Acid Flux here. Log in to see images! Well, I’ve had this avatar for a while, but I need something new. I’m going to be redesigning my Storefront with a new theme, and so, since there are so many talented artists & Photoshoppers here on FWZ, I decided to enlist those talents in this contest.
So, the challenge here is to make an Avatar that fits the theme of my New Store, and is still something I’d like to have for a while as my personal Avatar.
Here are the parameters 1. Has to have a human skull as the main theme of the image, preferably a red skull, but not necessary. 2. Has to have a Patriotic theme of some sort. The new Store theme is going to be ’Made in America’.
That’s pretty much it. Other than that, get creative. The one I pick as my favorite will receive 3 BP. BONUS: If the Avatar I choose is also animated, the award increases to 5 BP. It could be a flag furling in the background, a twinkle in the skull’s eye, or whatever. But no spinning skulls. I’ll get dizzy doing that all day.

I messed around a bit, tell me what you think, I could fix it up a little more I should change the blue to black to. oh and it is trollish Log in to see images!

I think that you’ve raised the bar significantly. I like the cartoony style artwork in general.
Okay, last ‘special request’. What about the jaw motion, but without the eye flicker? I like the pause between jaw animations, though. What if it was 3 seconds ‘paused’ time, 1 second ‘animated’ time, just jaw animation, no eye flicker? Acid Flux edited this message on 03/16/2009 8:57PM |

In fact, the only thing that could make this one better IMO is a non-twinkling ‘catchlight in the left eye, sort of like my current avatar. But that’s being really nitpicky, I know.
I think for my next contest, I might have people design their own Avatars. There are a lot of regulars on the board that have stock avatars. I think some of them deserve a custom avatar, but maybe they don’t have access to BPs.
