People will do anything for BP, Flezz, ePeens and whatever else CZ has conveniently shoved up their enormous arsehole, but what if we combined all of this with a way to get more users and eventually more traffic? My answer is not spam-vertisements, but it may just fall into that category considering that this would be a job for the Forumwarz users to do. I’m thinking of a rewards based system to give users either 1BP, more Flezz, an ePeen or maybe all three? What if we had a pyramid scheme where the most referals made increases the Flezz/BP handout?
Here’s what I’m thinking…
1 Referral = 2,500 + an ePeen entitled “My very first friend”
...And so on and so on… |

More BP. A BP for every third referral that reaches a certain level. OR completes episode one. My opinion of course.
And a better way to keep away those pesky alts, I guess. MicRo-BreAtH edited this message on 02/17/2009 6:34PM |

Could work.
But with much higher figures, for example, 50 referrals before the first peen, and 60 before the first bp. |

Those rewards are unbelievably lame. That’s almost no flezz, and more BP would probably be in order. |

Yes, to a level 35. But once you have a higher amount of referrals you’ll get more.
Oh and I agree with proving the accounts are active to make sure there are no illegal alts. Maybe by reaching level 4 without cheats and/or referring someone else? |

Ain’t those already a problem? Shouldn’t the trout just make a system against them or something?(Be creative) Problem solved. No illegal referrals, no bandwidth wasters.

What’d be bad with that? If those people are stupid, they might not find out about the referral system and actually BUY the brownies Log in to see images! MicRo-BreAtH edited this message on 02/17/2009 6:50PM |

You can’t build an anti-multi system. You COULD require java and use a small applet to scan for IPs (java bypbumes most proxies) but that would be great timesbersome (not to mention a lot of institutions have dedicated IPs so same IPs may be different people) |

Is it not possible to simply limit one IP to one account?
Of course, if that does happen, someone would have to Tubmail Evil Trout or post in the Illegal Alts thread to get permission for another, so that technically eliminates the problem.
And the referral system does sound interesting. |

GREAT idea. Required activity for a certain period of time is certainly a deterrent to multis. How about the flezz is proportional to level?

Universities, schools, offices and other places have same IPs in multiple computers. |

I could get five people to sign up for this game, a day. Would be really easy, we’d even have ads specifically for it. |

In theory this idea isn’t bad, however, I can only see people exploiting the hell out of it. |

Personal filtering of registrations. Look at IPs, How the same thingies are said, grammar, choices so far, or something similar. It’s impossible for something to be impossible, it’d just be freakingly hard. Besides, the fishie could sell the system to other games, make millions of bucks and give everyone free brownies. A certain amount of activity per character/account might have been a way to determine whether it’s an actual (legal) account or not. |

It’s not. Every so often I come across obvious illegal multis, with different IPs, who are all L35. |
