Can we talk about this?
Too often, I’m seeing pictures, blatantly lifted from outside (This week we find second place under angry replies) being pbumed off as appropriate and in fact winning. People who enter pictures are winning with someone else’s humor.
Now I’m not happy about that, but what really makes me angry is the fact that very often these pictures break the forum table in buildr. That picture is too big for your average fwz table.
If people are going to submit entries with pics, can there at least be a size restriction?

I find pictures to be very lazy, especially when they’re clearly ripped off from another source.
I usually downvote pictures unless they’re really good or look like they might be original. I always downvote them if I’ve seen the pictures before (like half of the lazy pictures which were posted on the Engrish forum and which first appeared in my inbox about 8 years ago). |

Now and again there’s a clever one (case and point, the link to the “this user has be b&” image from fwz used on Rage Against the Moderators) but since buildr is full of n00bs who upvote lazy crap like 8 year old pictures, shouldn’t there at least be a restriction on their use? say, for example, completely disabling the [img] tags on buildr. I wouldn’t see anything wrong with that, personally. |

There also the problem of hosting pics. Even if they are deemed to be ok, most of the pics are still hosted places where they could easily be taken down. And that wouldn’t look good in the forum. |

I believe that the pictures are copied to a ForumWarz server if they make it into the game.
That’s not an excuse for pictures which are crappy or which are frame-breaking, though. |
