Yeah, haven’t seen a movie that tense since War of the Worlds, but it was good. Also, I didn’t know Liam could be such a bad bum. |

Good movie, but not as good as people said it was. The ending was too contrived. The middle part, though, was excellent. Everything from his arrival in Paris to when he left the French detective’s apartment was amazing, but it went downhill after that.

It was ok. At a number of points, however, he may as well have pulled out his ****ing lightsaber because only a Jedi could do that **** and stay unscathed for so long.
Oh, and eat so much lead and end up, somehow, with his arm in a sling and no other problems whatsoever.
Also, his daughter was so ****ing ugly, the hot friend totally would have been the one kept pure and sold for high dollar. His daughter? It’d have been more cost effective to skip the gangrape and drug addiction and just grind her up and feed her to the other slaves that might actually have a chance of turning a profit on the street.

I actually felt the action sequences were some of the most realistic I’ve seen in some time. The martial arts were effective combat techniques that didn’t move into the realm of the cinematic. And he got shot as far as I know, once in the movie.

It was alright, nothing new, nothing too exciting.
Luc Besson should have been more heavily involved, then it would have been better.
