It would be helpful to have a real time private messaging system. Tubmail is okay but slow, sTalk would be great it could run off the IDC engine but have the look of sTalk. |

It’s a good idea in theory, but building such a system is anything but easy. Also, ET would have to do major hardware and bandwidth upgrades. |

I think it’d be pretty rad if you could treat it like a pseudo-IRC and merge it with sTalk, so it could possibly make flamebate, INCIT, and even each klan it’s own channel while enabling user-to-user communication.
Plus sides: + Would easily nudge along the ability to enjoy IDC while doing srs game stuffs. + Could make a more “realistic” game scene, like the end of ep1’s chat. + Forums and Tubmail are likely to become of less use. (Smaller DB) Minus sides: – Increased activity. – Possible complications with current design. (More work than reward.) – Likely to open up a new gateway of features and requests. |

This could easily be abused to “DDOS” other players sTalk chats so their browsers crash. i.e. A clan effort against fingerz. |
