Damn. Well, I know I got Dakota in the very beginning of my streak, which I started with the first 11 story forums. So that narrows the field a bit, but I remember it being towards Woe’s level. It may be pretty rare, still, akin to turtles; I only got a single piece and was having fairly high thread counts for the forums when I ran them.

At current, a lot of the ones on this list are way harder to get, idly or focusing on it, than Pink floyd. Sadly, it will remain way more powerful likely. It’s kinda of a pity in retrospect that it became so relatively easy to acquire prior to these other ones becoming so.

Keep in mind though, that the rarity of files is largely just a function of “where they’re found” and we’re adding new forums all the time. Even the bad files could easily find their way into future high level forums, because there’s no shortage of less desirable files in some of the current forum.

If iliketurtles.pron shows up as a file that the right amount of luck really helps on for a level 35 forum, it will suddenly become significantly less than half as rare.

Oh certainly. But that function of where they’re found is decided when the forum is added to the game. It was a choice to add a drop percent opportunity in for Pink Floyd before these ones. Log in to see images!

As I mentioned in another thread, once these files have been found for the first time, none of them are worth the effort. Super rares should have a meaningful boost, as the Floyd file does (not that they have to be that strong, but +12, +15, maybe +20).

I don’t necessarily agree with this. Floyd is worth it for the number of pieces required. Rather than just rarity, the value should be relative to both the number of pieces and rarity.

The problem with this, as stated above, is that rarity changes when new forums are added. So I further suggest that new .moar files become available with new forums, so as not to skew existing calculations.
