I’ve only played the single player campaigns a couple times. I could get back into it at some point, and play online. I prefer normal game play over DOTA too. |

I do not enjoy micromanagement. I think controlling a dozen units (each of which may have a special ability that you must use manually) is an annoying chore, and in DotA I don’t have to do it. Hence, DotA is more enjoyable for me.
If you do enjoy micromanagement, you can pick Chen, or Enchantress, or Meepo. Then you get a bunch of units who can’t take care of themselves. Woohoo. There really is no reason to play Melee anymore. |

I used to enjoy this. But then, about 1 1/2 years ago, I came to the conclusion that DotA just isn’t fun anymore. So I found other ways to occupy my time. |
