Will it allow trading moar files between alts? That would be nice but if not done properly people could abuse it to transfer Flezz between alts, and that would screw up the game and the Flezz leaderboard. |

Possible Solutions: 1. Allow direct trading of .moar files between alts, outside of the realm of the Auction House 2. Disable alts from bidding on their ‘own’ auctions. 3. Simply let it happen, since anyone that built up a high enough main character is simply taking a shortcut if they ‘power-level’ their own alt. Also, nothing would stop two friends from trading back and forth with their own alts to cirgreat timesvent any of the above solutions, so there’s really no point in preventing a single player from doing it.
Only possible solution? Completely anonymous auctions. No customization allowed of the title & text of the item for sale. No seller name, no bidder name, no immediate update of bids, no immediate posting of auctions. Have all new auctions post simultaneous (once per hour), and have all bids post the same way. Make it so that all bids have to be a rounded off predetermined number to avoid people tracking their bids (i.e., 105,000 flezz in stead of 104,756 or 105,834 flezz)
And even that’s going to be a pain in the bum to manager, I’m sure, and someone would probably still find a way to cheat the system. |

I think we can set some minimum and maximum value for each piece of moar file, probably based on the previous sale value. That would prevent some of the Flezz transfer problem. |

Maximum value could still be abused – if anyone else snipes a bid, they’d still be paying over the odds for the moar part. If direct transfer of flezz between alts is blocked, it could still be done through middlemen. I don’t see a way to stop it. |

The one potential danger for a trader trying to abuse an anonymous system – if multiple players list the same moar part, they won’t know which to bid on, and so could end up giving a flezz mountain to someone else. I suspect that will be avoidable though, given the range of parts available. |

The way around that would be for a player to buy items, then resell them, effectively laundering the flezz (though reducing the amount in the process) Would be an effective indirect auction tax, and a flezz sink. If ‘normal’ flezz is used to buy items before ‘auction’ flezz, then players who want to regain their leaderboard position would have to buy, then resell their entire flezz base, thus paying the tax again.
Still messy, but feasible I guess. |

nah, that sounds way too complex
just make sure that auctions are 100% anonymous/identical and that they don’t appear right away, but all at rollover. also add some additional mechanismus to curb abuse, such as the proposed restriction that alts can’t bid on each others’ items and maybe also some kind of limit values for items so that you can’t sell Chinese food junk for 100,000. One more thing, we could add some kind of tax on each purchase. Like 5% tax for purchase of less than 10,000, 10% for 50,000, 20% for 100,000, and so on. This way we can have some Flezz sink and the middlemen workaround would be almost prevented unless the player is desperate enough to pay for the tax twice. |

Or you can buy quest items called auction tokens. Every 1 token can be worth say 1,000? Then the auctions would carry out from there. |

Add a second curency that appears under Flezz. 1 flezz = 1 “token”.

I like the idea of tokens. But I don’t think it’s a good idea to limit the number of auctions. Maybe we can have tokens convertible to Flezz with an NPC similar to haxlrose. |
