If so, then you admit that you’ve never studied theology and that you’re just talking out your bum.

That was just way too easy. You set yourself up for that one.

My initial question still stands though: If there is no God, and if even the possibility of God is ridiculous, why get so riled up about it? If it doesn’t exist, why care?
