We know what existence is. We see it. We are part of it. And this is in the universe.

Now what is existence apart from the universe? Does “apart from the universe” even make sense?

Because there is no evidence to prove it, if there was it would be proven just like it’s proven the world is not flat and therefore there is no debate.

Religious people would say there is volumes of evidence and proof for god…so what. THERE IS NO CONCLUSIVE EVIDENCE.

It does make it a belief because you are actively choosing to believe in something you don’t know no matter how much you want to convince yourself you do.

Sure. Multiple universes with different physical laws or none at all. The conundrum is how different universes could even interact, or if it is even possible.

Why would you need the ontology to accept the possibility of a different universe? If we can never discover its existence (by inhabiting a separate dimension, for example), how could it ever be uncovered?
