I think this year’s E3 proves they’ve stopped caring about us fans when they can milk more money out of casual gamers with much less effort.
I mean hell if they would at least release good **** on the VC I’d be happy, but they keep withholding Earthbound from us. Seriously, why the ****ty selection? Can’t they just put out everything they own the rights to? |

Nintendo hasn’t ditched the hardcore! just look at the line up this Christmas!
There’s um, Snowboarding, and Rabbids and, uh, Wii Music… Oh.
The only really high profile ‘hardcore’ title on wii this Christmas is COD5, and all the ‘hardcore’ gamers are going to get it for the 360 or PS3.
That said, I have plenty of games that I enjoy for my Wii. If achievements and leader boards are all you care about, you’re doing it wrong. Gaming is supposed to be fun, not a second job.
I have a decent PC anyway, so I consider that to be my hardcore platform. Maybe that makes me unqualified to speak about it, but all the people bleating on about ‘no hardcore games’ are the type of gamers who have a 360/PS3 anyway. Even if they did release Gears of Halo 4 on Wii, they’d have all bought it on the ‘hardcore’ platforms anyway, making the Wii release practically redundant.

ALSO: I did nothing but play Nintendo games until about the end of the last gen. This generation I own a PS3 and a Wii, and I DESPISE the goddamn Wii. RE4, Zelda, Okami were the only things that my Wii has given me, 360 is giving a lot but is expensive for games, I just steal my dad’s ps3 games.

Personally, I enjoyed Brawl, but I haven’t played it as long as melee. Online is crap, though. And Subspace should have been optional. And there should have been an option to replay cinemas. And there should have been more third party characters. And there should be less bumon mashing. And more skill should be involved. And Phoenix Wright should have been a support character.
