I THINK….. THINK, mind you…. that it’s impossible within the normal boundaries of playing this game to beat Geronimo. BUT.

If by beating you mean getting to the end of episode 2 then yes.bumuming that you have gotten access to that mission it’s really not that difficult to beat it with a level 21. It will cost you a decent amount of synthols to do it but it’s not that difficult especially as a hacker.
That being said with that forum getting nerfed in terms of cred reward it’s a better strategy to powerlevel off of second wife or dykea runs now.
However if you mean actually beating the boss thread then no you can’t do it regardless of offense or ego. Perhaps a emo with 140+ offense might be able to do it but I think it’s currently impossible to get to that sort of offense with a emo. Shocker edited this message on 11/17/2008 4:03PM |

-if you mean when it wails you for 999999 dmg, i mean. if youre just trying to beat the forum to finish ep2, then id say its possible. better to level up a few more times first rather than waste money on it imo |

Well what is it’s miss rate? Does it even miss? And what’s the max attack power you can get? I didn’t think it was a possible. Im nowhere near a power of 9999… even if I repec. I don’t think I’d even get half that. And I’ll be killed next turn. |

It doesn’t miss, as far as I can tell, and I’ve grinded 5 characters up to level 35 on it. It’s basically only possible with an Emo Kid capable of hitting for 5000 damage a pop… so not possible at all.

Theoretically possible for a hacker to do 9999 damage in one hit? I’ve got 134 offense on my hacker and he still barely scrapes a third of that. Even with the best glbumes and .moar files available, and a complete respec to offense, I don’t think it can be done. I’d love to be proven wrong, though. |
