I think the issue with Forumbuildr is the inherent nature of the game. ForumWarz is a parody of internet culture. So what gets submitted to Forumbuildr? More parodies of internet culture! Granted, not very well-written ones many times and usually focusing on pop culture more than anything, but they are technically following the spirit of the game.

Also, just out of idle curiosity, how many folks actually stop and actually read the forums they’re pwning sometimes?

I do, for the first few times anyway, unless I’m trying to get scoops.

I wrote one based on a Monster.com or CareerBuilder.com type of site. The submission I figured was serious because it would have alot of potential for people to go wild in the categories, but apparently I didn’t spout some meme, thus downvotes. That and I’m completely unfunny.

Thanks, I’m going to try to get a vote going on it again when I get more build, but we’ll see how chronic downvoting affects it again.

I’ve submitted DiagnoseMe.com twice, and it’s done fairly well both times but hasn’t won (obviously). Maybe one day I’ll try it again.

I almost always do, unless I’m after lemon scoops or on a time-based job from Herschel. I enjoy reading the community forums and remembering, “Hey, I voted for that one,” or “Hey, I submitted that one!”
