Bill Hicks is possibly the greatest man to ever live.
Patton Oswalt is hilarious too.
Louis CK isn’t bad either.
And most of the people you guys mentioned. Plus Norm McDonald, because he’s crude and blunt.
A slight deviation from the topic: Dane Cook is the worst comedian in the world. He is the ICP of the stand up world. |

My absolute least favorite comedian is Jeremy Hotz. I hate him, even more than Dane Cook. He is horrible. ...miserable, even.
I dunno who my favorite comedian is. Even bad comedians tend to keep me laughing. I like Gary Gulman, he’s always pretty good. |

I tend to favor somewhat older comedians for some reason: George Carlin, Lenny Bruce, Bill Hicks, Richard Pryor, Rodney Dangerfield, etc. Some newer performers I like are Daniel Tosh, Demitri Martin, Dave Chappelle, Chris Rock, Dave Attell, Dom Irrera (prolly cause I grew up in an Italian family), Mitch Hedberg (dead now, but sort of recent), Stephen Lynch, a bunch of others.
Some others that are kind of meh but still pretty good to me – Jeff Foxworthy, Lewis Black, Jeff Dunham.
Also, I’m sure I’ll think of a ****load more as people post them.
And I really ****ing hate Carlos Mencia. Just want to throw that out there. Dane Cook’s not too bad. He’s terribly overrated, but he’s all right taken in small doses. |

Oh wow. As for the ones that have already been covered, Carlin, Rodney Dangerfield, Mitch Hedberg, Jeff Dunham, Gallagher, among many others.
