Betcha all thought I forgot about this thread. But no!
Finally got my mike installed and had a chance to record a test file. I want to do that to verify the procedure before I produce the rap.
The next step would be, I imagine, hosting the file somewhere. I saved it as an MP3, where’s a good place to put it? |

Rapidshare only allows 10 downloads, so that didn’t seem like a good idea.
I know about Google, I was just looking for recommendations.
MediaFire seems decent, I guess. I’ve uploaded my test file there, which I guess you could listen to if you’d like to hear me say “Testing, Testing, 1, 2, 3” a few times. You have to download it to play it, though — is there anywhere which would allow streaming listening?
In any case, the next trick is to find time to record the rap. That could take a while, or might happen soon — it all depends on when I can be alone next to my computer. IIRZ, you ready?

just youtube it. use windows movie maker: put the song into the video then stretch your avatar or something to fill the video. Encode with decent quality and upload to the ‘tube.

My rap is recorded! It’s only about a minute, and is a capella, but it should show my dominance. I’d like to add video to it but we’ll see how time permits.
