Funny, I wouldn’t have pegged amaranthus for the type to have his head put on wrong around a young girl. I do think you should speak with him, Mr. Monkey. The boy is obviously troubled, for as much as he’s an bumet. Maybe he needs more work.

Actually amaranthus is the type who is so engrossed in his work he doesn’t even know that there are other people in this world, except when they bother him in his lab.

Then he needs to rest, right? One man can’t work too much. He has to relax, too. Maybe he’s just relaxing somewhere.

Well, it’s not really my fault… I mean… ****. Those goddamn kids were in here and they messed up my lab and then were poking around in my garden. I finally… chased the girls out; they went to the mall. But that stupid Ash kid was still there, yammering about pokemons or something, and I had to drive him out there.

Wha— My license? Yes, it’s still ****ing suspended, all right? Whatever; it totally ****ing shouldn’t be. Stupid ****ing cops. Well, sorry, I guess. It’s just… well I had to ****ing get him out of here somehow, you know? ****.

Anyways, then I had to… clean up. They damaged some of my most… valuable plants, and one of them ripped a page out of my Field Guide to Plants of the Subcontinent, and somebody bled all over my instruments and I had to sanit— don’t ask. I don’t know why, she just picked up one of my scalpels and started cutting. ****.
