Dear Team Shortbus

I think in a way everybody loves Team Shortbus, without them flamebate would be boring.

I would not like to cross their path and have them flame me, however, but I think they can be amusing.

One day there may even be a seat on the Shortbus for me.

Dearest Escher, you are so sweet with your ideas. My dear ladyfriend broke up with me not because there was someone else, but merely because she fell into a metaphorical hole. You see when she was younger, about 17 years old, she suffered with depression, and after going off the rails she finally settled down and resumed a normal life. However, a few years later, her depression returned, and with it a self loathing of such that she cannot bare to let me see her. This causes me great pain. She wont contact me or anybody else until it has pbumed. It has been almost a year since she was diagnosed, but 3 months since we broke up. I could never betray her like that. I have pictures, of course I have pictures of her in naked poses, but they are for my eyes only. They were taken only as art, and not for creepy old men to gaze upon. I guess one day I’ll be over her enough to burn these shots, but until then they stay safely in my scrapbook of me and her.

Ever since she left me I feel nothing. I feel numb inside, I don’t remember what it is to be happy, or to smile. I can’t even feel sad. I prefer to deny it happened, and call her phone everyday. But all I get is the voicemail. “Hello, and welcome to the o2 voicemail messaging service, the person you have called is unable to take your call right now, please leave a message after the bee-”. Is it bad that I can quote that word for word? Why did this happen to me? We were so happy, so in love. We were perfect for eachother. I can’t go to her house because she won’t answer the door, or her brothers will send me away. What did I do to deserve this?
