Wondering how “estimated hours played” is calculated anyway. I’m guessing it’s more than just a summary of your speedrun times and 5 minutes per INCIT entry, but what else would count as “playing”? Does sTalk count? Also, no stats given for gambling / kyoubai / tubmail / dom cards (among many others). (view post) |

The idea behind the text was that it would be animated and appear one letter/word at a time rather than the static example, but if you don’t want it, less work for me.

Seriously though, happy birthday. If you haven’t gotten started on those 21 beer shots, just do one at the top of the hour, then one every three minutes until you have number 21 exactly one hour later. Then continue with full-size drinks as desired. Make sure the people you are with have cameras! Log in to see images! Unless you have a tolerance, only 1.5 ounce shots; times 21 that is less than two 16 ounce bottles or three 12 ounce cans. Or, on further reflection cut back to 1 ounce if you only weigh like 98 pounds. Stop completely if you feel sick. Fling open the doors and shout “I’m furry and proud!” at the top of your lungs. Then find that because it is Monday, the only person there is some deaf, half-blind old lady that tidies up the place. As long as this doesn’t result in an infinite loop from poor coding, we can eventually make it so that you HAVE to type like a drooling idiot in order to have intelligible conversation.

I miss being able to use my Klan forum to test this stuffWould it be too much to ask that you just take some of the posts you’ve already made and re-edit them over and over so this doesn’t keep getting bumped? Or do they have to be new posts for these tests? Not that I have anything against Unicode tables. They’re hawt.

SuggestionI will merely point out that Wylin forgot to ask for the space bar to open the next thread once you have pwned a thread, and open the next un-streaked forum available when you have pwned the forum – or alternately, open the same forum again if you are farming.
Removed other thoughts before posting because A) This is in Game Discussion B) I understand that the intent is to get CZ’s attention with this “modest proposal” in a way that an RP thread or non-trolling post might not.

Can we please not have the crappy googled image win again?I have refrained from submitting images so far because I’m no artist and the rules state “public domain images” as I recall, not just googled and possibly lightly shooped. But if CZ doesn’t care, we’re just going to keep seeing these.
What would be the appropriate penalty for submitting a copyrighted image? Remove the image and revoke all scoops (one day permaban)? And what, if anything, is CZ going to do about ones that have already won? Probably overthinking this… if CZ required the images be original work, we could have items with no images whatsoever (again).
Maybe if we identify a submitted image as being from the first page of Google image search, we should all submit the same image with “LOL GOOGLE” superimposed. Our buildr scores will suffer, but it might get the point across. (view post) |

I think if I play with the ears a bit, I could make a legitimate case that this is “inspired by” rather than “swiped”.
