Same here, I didn’t even pay attention to Dom until I got like 5 messages 10 of my pistachio scoops were either shotgunned or stolen, apparently since I was on a huge streak I had the most pistachio scoops. I checked the Dom board and they traded in *all* their scoops for cards, I suspect they’re alts of the winning player or something. But that didn’t stop me from winning Fave Flava in the end. I actually broke my streak today, got pwned by Zombie Armageddon. I was on the last thread with <150 ego left, the forum deals 157-169 with my stats. I was halfway through the thread and instead of healing with <150 ego left, I foolishly attacked again and got owned. Only reason I attacked was because I just *bumumed* I had enough ego to last another attack before I needed to heal. And my streak was at 43 before that too. Log in to see images! caps for defence and offence !?It’s all about proportions. From 100 to 200, it feels like a big increase because the value doubled, but going from 2000 to 2500, it feels like there wasn’t much of a change because the relative increase went down (25% compared to 100%), even though absolute increase was greater (500 compared to 100). optimal stat spread?If anyone cares I was able to take on HoFF and Great Firewall of China with these stats today:Ego 1020 Douchebaggery 760 Offense 69 Defense 96 Luck 39 Frugality 50 Charisma 33 Upkeep 20 I had to use ~4-5 synthols in each battle but otherwise it was pretty smooth with me flamebaiting and shocking my way through. Frugality is overkill yes, I pumped a good 43 points into it so this is nowhere even near my optimal stats. Only reason I’m doing this is for running the business on Kyoubai so I can rack up some to save for the Pink Floyd I want. Now the one thing I’m wondering is if I’d be able to take on level 33 forums given that (i) I gain maybe 2 more levels (ii) I have an optimal stat (probably +1000 ego to what I have right now) (view post) |

Thanks for the wonderful script, it really helped with my streak, but just today I’ve run into problems. The filter in the script was working fine until today, when it kept saying I’m not allowed to filter since I have 0 streaks despite my streak being 42 right now. I suspect this has something to do with me switching to my alts, since I enabled cheats on some of them just for lulz, the streak is always at 0, but the weird part is the filter would also reset itself when I switched back to my main account (this one), but not today, any possible reasons? INCIT FlawsThe problem with INCIT is not so much its design flaws, but rather as I find instead of voting for the most original/funniest poster, people most often just vote for whoever can come up with the most overused meme themes and somehow forcibly apply that to the poster.
Cases in point: – poster is a picture of a woman: “GET BACK IN THE KITCHEN” theme *always* pops up, and it wins 75% of the time – poster is a picture of a black man: it turns into a contest of who can come up with the most creative way to use the word “fine upstanding member of society” – anything that even remotely resembles an animal: “furries” – picture that shows a woman in bikini: “mammary glands OR GTFO” guaranteed to rear its ugly head (sadly this is how one of my entries won, I consider it an ironic win)
I could go on and give an exhaustive list but I’m too lazy. The worst part is I noticed these days there’s an increasing trend towards posters with the aforementioned things winning. Says something about the voters I suppose. (view post) |
