Goddamn rerolling forums every half-hour, just so I can race my alts through when the good one has a decent number of threads.

This has been a problem forever. I remember dreading trying to get 8 Praypal20s in back in the day when I was grinding 2 characters at once.

Now that basically every character can get through geronimo, second wife, etc in under a minute (bumuming no lag) it’s not as bad as it used to be but it can still be annoying.

If we are talking about ponies though I would love to see the number of current threads for each forum in the forums and community forums listing. That way i don’t have to enter and leave every half hour to see if the forum I’m spading is at max threads yet.

Artificially extending play time

The problem is that unless you allow people to carry over some things like flezz or .moar files people will be losing significant number of turns in return for a relatively small benefit. Thus you’d have to create some sort of e-peen system to reward remorting such as an e-peen every 4 times you beat episode 2.

That way a small number of players will likely decide they would rather spend time chasing remort epeens instead of domination based epeens.

Another problem is that a good deal of the current power comes from having access to high-end equipment and .moar files. It takes a significant investment in time and visits in order to get those benefits and few people are going to want to give up their rare .moar files in return for a small bonus to base stats.

Forum Visits

I would definitely love to be able to store more visits. I rarely have time to play on the weekend so it’s always a daunting task to try to burn visits so I don’t lose any.

Final Forum <spoiler?>

It could be as low as 2400 or such which easily enables hackers and some camwhores to one hit the forum. Emos could easily do it with life beyond death.

The problem now is that the only clbum that can possibly do it (Emo) simply doesn’t have a high enough offense to hammer the thread. This is partially due to low caps on equipment and partially due to the relatively low damage of it’s high end attacks.

Once some of the rare .moar files start to be found this might change but currently it just doesn’t seem like anyone can get into the 140+ offense that would be necessary to 2-hit the forum.

It seems that uniques and forumbuildr ones are definitely highly ranked.

PD is no longer active but has the largest one currently I suspect his is heavily made up of the forumbuildr ones, the top buildr one, and the uniques.

I suspect that the values needed to get to average size can be achieved through the storyline peens but that the relative value for a 8+ length requires either a ton of peens or a handful of the rare ones.

Technically the easiest method of finishing the game with a permanoob is as follows

1)Get you permanoob up to around 18-20 (Honestly it’s a little time consuming but not that difficult the main thing is that you pretty much need to have Recipes For Disaster and maybe the second permanoob attack)

2)Farm Herschel until you have a big warchest

3)Respec to a relatively high frugality

4)Buy a ****load of synthol (with the increase in prices 5-HTP is no longer cost-effective)

5)Respec into a high defense build

6)Pwn Second Wife (Sure it’s tough and your attacks do **** for damage but you can enter and exit until you get a low power thread- pwn it and you should gain about .5 levels per thread if you’ve got a decent warchest you can probably own 2-3 threads insuring roughly a level a visit). Repeat this until you can relatively easily power your way through the remainder of episode 2. Once you unlock the final episode 2 forum then switch to it to powerlevel up the rest of the levels.

Note this strategy pretty much works for all the other clbumes as well if you want to shorten your time as a mid-level goon.

Considering the amount of 5-HTP or Synthol Permanoobs need to purchase to push on to the endgame I would say that deliveries are a concern for permanoobs.

Maybe the resale value on excess .moar files could be increased so that people could farm them for  ?
