	The Forumwarz Book Club: An Idea Doomed To Fail Professor Commie PhD Posted: Well, I’ll agree that One hundred years of solitude is not a book that everyone can enjoy, but I, for one, could not put it down once I started reading. Comic, I’ll be sure to check out both those books (in fact, I’m reviewing an Amazon order for them as I’m typing this message). And, yeah, I’m a big fan of both non-traditional structures and magic realism; for some reason, that genre fascinates me. Just so you know: Tropic of Orange is magical realism and Why Did I Ever has an odd structure. I didn’t want it to seem like there was a lot of over lap, though there is some. You even get male reproductive organes in different skin colors to make it look authentic. You still need a buddy with clean pee. There’s a few problems with that. One is having to wait for the product to ship, another is finding clean **, and the third is temperature. Some are temperature controlled, but I imagine that gets expensive. It is possibly the suckiest book ever. EVER. I have to agree with you on Cien Anos de Soledad. Not a fan. I would be willing to try any of the other books PCP suggested or Lamb as CoreyJess mentioned. Though I was planning on giving my copy to someone to borrow soon. Also, Professor, it seems you like your realism magical and non-traditional structures. You should check out “Tropic of Orange” by Karen Yama****a and “Why Did I Ever” by Mary Robison. I know it’s short and some of you are fast readers, but I’m not going to make the discussion topic until around May 30th. However, like I said earlier if anyone else finishes up and wants to start talking before they forget they can feel free to make the topic earlier. You can also make it if you just want to ask a question or point out a good part. In the mean time, read up and suggest some books for next go-round. It can be a quick read, but it can be slow going trying to get a good understanding of what’s going on.
