so i'm going to try and beat the game without using any upgrade points... (spoilers)I’ve run the math, and the math tells me that those files are weighted as hell. I’m getting unique pieces faster at 1 luck than I was at 57 luck.
The best place for Darkside seems to be HOFF, but that would take you forever to pwn (Aside from it being more than 4 levels out of range, causing all your attacks to do 20% damage.) (view post) |

Don’t. If you do this as a Re-re then you can NEVER be topped. EVER.
You knew this would be tedious when you started, don’t wimp-out with so much accomplished!
Also: Trident Media Theremin Edition, Amish Gone Wilde, and MY RIFLE IS THIS BIG all drop Pink Floyd. Hunting for the pieces would slow you down quite a lot, but +30/+30 off/def would be absurdly useful in your quest. (view post) |

Item suggestion: quantum computerLeave the “quantum” tag off. Instead keep in mind ‘Plum’ computers has no ****ing clue how to put hardware together, and there ARE other companies out there selling MUCH better gear.
HelP Pressharder: A respectable computer, or at least it would be if it wasn’t an unreliable piece of crap that makes you want to stab yourself in the ear just to escape the constant tech support cycles. +1000 Ego +75 Tears
Baser Desires One: It’s not a powerful computer, but it IS the sexiest laptop on the market. It’s 10” screen is more than enough for the average girl, and the 8-hour battery pack is enough for it to go all night long. +500 Ego +50 Sexiness
AlienTech Area52: Area51’s just the place they keep running to draw the attention away from the really cool ****. Area 52 is where it’s REALLY at. Overpriced, overpowered, oversized, this is the most powerful laptop around. It’s so powerful that it’ll even still be top-of-the line this time next year. +200 ego +75 Processing Power

Item suggestion: quantum computerWhile it’s true that quantum computers can solve very complicated tasks in a very short period of time, the problem is that they are actually very slow at other tasks – IF they can do them at all. They’re a specialized type of processor, and only really suited for things in their specialty.
Also, they can’t crack pbumwords any faster than a traditional computer. They CAN, however, be used for breaking encryption. (view post) |

CoOpWe already need to get some balancing going on in here. ET has said he’s trying to get all the clbumes to do the same damage on average, but that make no sense at given how the different clbumes play differently. Emokids take a beating to get their damage up, but since that increases their damage and bumps up the average they get unfairly penalized. Eventually, they will end-up in a situation where their boosted damage is little more than the other clbumes normal damage. Trolls aren’t supposed to do a lot of damage, they’re supposed to shrug-off damage and wear forums down through attrition. Yes it’s slow, but they save on healing and can take-on harder forums. Camwhores are a glbum cannon. They’re supposed to be hitting in between healing, but they can’t heal for **** (+140ego? Not even worth it!) so they need to burn through items. However, since they spend so few rounds attacking they’re supposed to do very high damage when they go to hit back.
TL;DR: Split the speedrun times on a per-clbum basis, then balance without the domwhores having a reason to complain. (view post) |
