30 Days of INCIT. Win up to 30 BPINCIT sucks. We all know it and if you disagree then you’re unfunny and terrible. Sorry, but it’s true. Now, I’m an INCIT fabulous person from way back and in my opinion things weren’t always this bad. If Bruce Springsteen’s celebratory ode to living in the past “Glory Days” has taught me anything, it’s that memories are the best place to dwell. Another Springsteen song taught me that if you want something fixed you have to throw money at it (I think the song might’ve been “The River” or “Atlantic City” ). That’s why, at tonight at midnight EST, 30 Days of INCIT will start. For 30 straight days those playing INCIT will have the chance to win one BP a day. Not a lot, but there’s no limit to how many BP you can win.* How do you win? By being FUNNY. BOLD. ITALICS. FUNNY. Also, CREATIVE and CLEVER. I’ll go through the day’s wins in the Hall of **** and pick the one I find funniest and send the winner a BP. The next day it starts all over again and the next day until October 18th (I’m pretty sure that’s 30 days, but I took retard math in high school, so maybe not). If someone kicks major bum, there might even be an E-Peen in it for you. Is it fair that I’m appointing myself the comedy judge? No, not really, but I’m the one with the BP, so shut the **** up. Am I a sellout for aiding Crotch Zombie with INCIT/Protivate? Yes, and I’m getting half the profits for all Protivate sales (so far I have to pay them about $44.01 to help cover the developer’s fee). Am I afraid that I’ll purposefully or inadvertently favor or discount certain players? No, I hate you all.
To help you out, I’ll list some things I find absolutely unfunny in INCIT: – Any submissions that equates to “WTF????? THIS PIC IZ WEIRD!!!!” – Any submission that involves a meme. – Most submissions that have nothing to do with the picture. – Any submission that is an exact copy of one I’ve seen before. This includes blatantly stealing a previous win (even if it’s your own) or using something that’s been done to death such as “Dear Diary, Jackpot” or something about women needing to be in the kitchen. – I’m going to try not to favor submissions that reference something I like. That’s not fair and it’s kind of lazy.
In the event that a day yields nothing funny, I will keep my BP for that day. Also, there’s a chance I might be playing a little. I won’t reward myself with a BP, but every win for me is one less chance for you to win. Hopefully, this contest will get people into the habit of being good INCIT players. I am positive that after the 30 days are over, INCIT’s newfound stability will match that of Iraq’s. Now, get out there, and stop being ****, people! Also, no trolling. Except for me, I can troll. You can’t.

It kind of sounds like this thread would interest you. One of the complaints being raised is some posters aren’t breaking any rules but are messing up Flamebate. Nailbomb revives so many old threads that new topics get pushed before they can have their time. Even if the post is the funniest thing in the world it won’t get the attention it deserves. Like Fingerz said, even if things are great people will whine. They might be making the best posts on the site, but they’ll probably still **** about something. Complaining is so integrated into the feel of this place that if people didn’t routinely whinge, I think we’d all feel like something was missing. Finally, the absence of whining does not good posters make. World peace wouldn’t lead to everybody being happy. There’s other factors at play. I’m not trying to be a jerk when I say this, but where are you awesome posts? You’re presumably not a whiner, but I don’t recall any kick bum Inconnu posts. Maybe that’s not what you come here for though. You like Dom, I’m guessing, and there’s other stuff you dig on. Your concern isn’t making a great post. Maybe you do post a lot, but do it mostly with alts. I’m just using you as an example about how not whining doesn’t make anybody’s posts gold. I understand where you’re coming from, but telling people they shouldn’t discuss or criticize mods because they’re mods is silly. Especially in a thread started by a mod about modding.

What a bull**** sentiment. Where in the rules does it say people can’t do that? Respect is earned. When they were given modship, Crotch Zombie didn’t send them a box of pills that makes them respectable.
I have no problem with any of the mods, but if they don’t have thick enough skin to take the **** pitched at them they shouldn’t have become mods. If players can’t voice their complaints or distaste in regard to mods, then this site has become very ****ed up. This isn’t just about mods either, it’s about the way some things are done. We aren’t allowed to have discussion anymore?
Of course we are. It’s a ridiculous question with an obvious answer that you seem to want to try and change.
And if you remember EVERYBODY used to whine about Banhammer. Most of the time it was a joke, but it still happened.
Like I said, I have no problem with any of the mods and I don’t really care about this issue one way or another, but to tell people they shouldn’t talk about it is dumb. A MOD started this thread if you didn’t notice. You don’t have to read it if the complaining bothers you that much. That is a right that you have.
I’m tired, so I might be coming as way more of a male reproductive organ than I mean to be. Sorry if I am. I managed to not use the word fascism, so that says something. But really, don’t tell people what they do and don’t have a right to talk about. (view post) |

Forumwarz Apprentice: news, updates and discussionChilePepino might have been kidding about JB being able to blame the apprentices, but I’m still going to refute it. If anyone’s curious, here’s how the apprentice process has gone so far:The Pitches: The apprentices submitted loose ideas for NPCs and missions. JB took the 65 ideas that were submitted and chose the 20 he thought would work the best. The Drafts (Three Different Kinds): Out of the final 20, the apprentices each claimed a mission and wrote out the sTalk dialogue, mission descriptions, character profiles, etc for their missions. In some cases a mission was the product of a single writer, in others it was a team effort. Once finished, JB gave notes and the writers further fixed up their missions. In the forum, the apprentices could win/fail vote and comment on all the missions. After a little bit, the apprentices were bumigned to do edits on another person’s work to get fresh eyes on the mission. Crotch Zombie missions: The CZ guys also had mission ideas which were also put up for grabs to the apprentices. This is the current stage we’re at in the process. This is also where the apprentices start getting to see the missions being written by the Crotch Zombie staff proper. At this point, we know what missions, forums, and NPCs will be used and it’s just a matter of filling them in. The Constant Stage: All through out, everyone on the apprentice team and the Crotch Zombie team has access to all the missions being written. They are free to read, comment, and edit on each other’s work. If a joke isn’t as funny as it could be, someone can suggest a new one. Typos can be fixed, continuity errors pointed out, and dialogue tightened. Routinely, JB will go through and do line edits on the works. While for the most part people are writing individual mission, everyone has a say in what goes on. I bring this up not to toady and defend JB, but so that every knows they have the right to blame the ENTIRE apprentice team and Crotch Zombie if they have a problem with Episode 3. No one can hide behind anyone else, as we all get the opportunity to make something better. JB is also writing missions, also doing editing, so he can’t push the blame to anyone. By the same token, I can’t pitch **** about anyone’s writing, because if I don’t like something I can voice my opinion. So, remember, if you hate the writing in episode three: blame everyone. Forumwarz Apprentice: news, updates and discussionUpdate: Episode 3 will be about half the size of Episode 2.It will cost twice as much. All new forums will come straight from Forumbuildr. The new battle system will only be availible to those who donate due to storyline issues. There will be a special appearance by popular band Smash Mouth. In a sequence similar to episode 2’s court room, the player must complete a game of solitaire before the game can properly start. Episode 3 will bring over 20 new rules to Flamebate. The current overarching theme for Episode 3 is that it’s okay to cry. For the purpose of difficulty, the level cap will be lowered to 26 and the forum difficulties will range from 1 to 72. The word “fabulous person” appears in the scripts 2,392 times. The word “male reproductive organ” and it’s slang forms appear 7,239 times. The word “ream” appears 401 times. The word woman's genitals and it’s slang forms do not appear at all. It will be revealed that the previous two episodes were only a dream. The pictures for the most part are decent. There are some bad ones, yeah, but usually the problem is that people don’t want to try to think of a good caption. Every time someone says, “This picture isn’t funny,” what they’re really say is, “I’m not funny.”
Pictures that are inherently funny usually end up with a lot of “WTF IS GOIN ON IN THIS PIC” dump subs.
