Multiple decks, for instance and/or lowering the BJ bonus. Right now I’m not even sure there IS a house percentage, I’ve won 80k today and I’ve made over 1,000 scoops this round. It’s gamebreakingly ridiculous and I’m not competing in domination until this is fixed a bit, it simply takes too much of my time now. My understanding is that the deck is shuffled after each hand, i.e., the equivalent to a new deck each hand. So card counting won’t work, anyway. 	New medal idea... blanksuspect Posted: How about awarding a medal to whoever destroys the most scoops in a domination round? It’ll give a new dimension to play and it wouldn’t be easy to win it along with the other 3 without being very good. Destroying over 100 scoops this week felt really good. 	Thread to moan about downvoting Velveteen Posted: its hard the first time when you realize your sense of humor doesn’t quite match most of forumwarz The recognition that 90% of the world is stupid is always a bit of a shock no matter how many times it happens in a day. Mostly you don’t have to deal with other people’s moronic senses of humor, but Forumbuildr actively enlists morons, so what are you gonna do? Dropping the LCD even further is the fact that many participants are mere welps whose idea of humor is not much more evolved than a badly told poo poo joke. (As an example, many of the voters on Forumbuildr seem to be completely unfamiliar with genital piercing, and have down voted an entry of mine that involves the a piercing being named after royalty. Since they don’t get the joke due to their lack of worldliness, they down-vote it. Basically they’re saying they prefer a McDonald’s Cheeseburger to more exotic faire, since their mom only took them to McDonald’s.) I think the reason this seems so appalling is that FW is created by some smart people, and clearly there are some smart people who enjoy it. This is misleading, especially as one enters a “democratic” part of the game, like Forumbuildr. So, my practice is this: I downote the 90% that is pure **** and upvote the 8% that is funny and smart. About 2% get a pbum because I DON’T GET IT, but I suspect the problem is on MY END. If I was stupider this percentage might be higher, so long as I was willing to recognize that NOT GETTING a joke might be due to a deficiency on my part. This is called wisdom and I’m glad I have at least that much. Anyway, to sum it up, 90% of you are **ing idiots and you. Log in to see images!** One possible solution would be, before a new forum is unleashed upon Forumbuildr, someone do some basic research to provide information links for those who want to get an overview of the subject. Perhaps people wouldn’t be such lazy morons if you spoon fed them the information required to create a minimally relevant submission. Another solution would be do take this out of the hands of the mbumes, at least to a certain degree. A cadre of Forumbuildr artisans could take the raw material submitted by the hoipoloi and craft something decent. Lastly, Teams or Klans (or individuals with lots of time on their hands) could submit finished forums in which they’ve done all the work. This could be incorporated as a competition. 	Side Quests A cop just showed up to search my pad. I asked him two things: 1) Do you have a warrant? 2) Do you think CZ should have side quests while we wait for EP 2? He answered the second question first. Here’s what he told me. “Side quests would be really cool, but not if they represent ANY (and he really emphasized ANY) delay to EP 2. If they can be knocked together with minimal effort from what’s already in place, then CZ should go for it. Otherwise, no.” His answer to my first question was to tase me, the rotten bastard. Oh, I should add that after I fell to the ground and he trashed my place, he spared me a few more words as he kicked me in the ribs before departing. “Hell, I might even be willing to spend a brownie point or two on a side quest!” **ing cops.
