Enricio Ramirez' HouseGumshoe is not visibly breathing. He has been shot multiple times in his side and his right arm. The final shot looks like it hit him in the chest. To tell for sure if any vital organs were hit, a doctor would need to be present. (view post) |

Enricio Ramirez' HouseThe gunman scans the area for the two other agents. They seem to be gone. Silently, he turns around and heads back into the house, looking for more agents to kill (view post) |

Enricio Ramirez' HouseGumshoe was lying in prickly bushes. He’d been shot in the side but he was alive and he wasn’t bleeding too much. He wasn’t sure if it didn’t hurt, or if he was just too delirious to tell. Either way, he could barely move. He pressed the bumon on his transmitter
M-monkey? Front door. Defended. Dont go near the front door. Go around. It, I cant move. Calavera is down. Dun-dunno about Eastman… and Marsh. They- think they ran away. Or something. I
He heard breathing.
Sh-****. He’s… front door is open. The front door is open. It’s… you? But why… would you…
Another gunshot and the transmitter goes silent. (view post) |

Enricio Ramirez' HouseGumshoe and Calavera rushed the front door and kicked it in, taking point while Eastman and Marsh drew their guns to shoot down whatever was on the other side. Or at least, they TRIED to kick the door in. Instead, the door only made a splintering sound. Gumshoe and Calavera got ready to kick again when a gun barrel pushed through the mail slot.
Je- MOVE, MOVE!
Eastman and Marsh were far enough out of the way, but Calavera went down hard, automatic fire sprayed all across his chest. Gumshoe took a hit to his side before he managed to spring out of the range of the mail slot. He was bleeding. The gun barrel withdrew from the mail slot and he heard the doorknob turn… (view post) |

Enricio Ramirez' HouseRamirez’s house would’ve been easy to find even if they didn’t have access to FBI records on all civilians. A mapquest search was enough to get directions. For whatever reason, he was listed. Easy. Simple.
The cars pulled up seperately. We had all parked at different locations, so no one inside would be alarmed to see eight cars pulling up. This had to go simple and quiet. We were all dressed like civilians, minus the body armor underneath our clothes. With luck it would buy us an extra second or two before whoever or whatever was in there got suspicious. We converged three houses away from our target.
Mia, you go around the back. Died, you take the east window. I’ll be the diversion- I’m heading for the front. Agents Marsh, Eastman, and Calavera, you’re with me.
We made our way to the house. (view post) |

Where is 70CS?One sentence there made sense to me. “Bring a team and expect casualties.” That’s enough for me. Amaranthus, you find Ramirez’s location. I’ll gather some agents together. We’ll get coffee on the way. (view post) |

Where is 70CS?Seriously? I have no idea. I was just thinking we really needed to recruit a “disappearing building” guy but I hadn’t gotten around to it yet.
There’s no precedent for this kind of thing. I have no idea where to begin. (view post) |

Case Notes, Date Eta-One-OneSir… if there really is an Agent Ramirez… what does all this have to do with us? How could he come to our time, and… why? And why would one of our agents be tied to the Brainfreeze Trust?
...and where is he now? (view post) |

Case Notes, Date Eta-One-OneHmmm. Alright, so let’s say that refers to this guy and he we have his briefcase. What then? Do we have any way to track TGC agents? (view post) |

Case Notes, Date Eta-One-OneMore papers. Here’s a driver’s license for one Enricio Ramirez. And here is… well, looks like a certificate for stock owned in the… Brainfreeze Trust. Hmm. But there’s a photo ID, and Ramirez looks different from his driver’s license. Looks like he was shaved bald, and there’s a barcode thingy on his right temple. ...might’ve been there before, he had hair blocking it, but still.
Reading on… looks like AGENT Ramirez had a license to kill, a license to operate heavy artillery weapons, and a license for “Constitutional suspendments”. ...I dont know govspeak jargon, but *I* think that means he could violate the Constitution at his leisure.
Okay, here’s something. Says here that his second to last mission was to infiltrate the Brainfreeze Organized Trust. Dunno anything about that. But according to the small text here, he should’ve destroyed these dogreat timesents. And… we’re reading them. What gives?
His last mission was apparently visit “HP” and speak to a “client” about legal action. ...does anyone get any of this? Cuz it’s all baloney to me. (view post) |

Case Notes, Date Eta-One-OneAfter poring over clbumified information, Trent and Gumshoe finally have a lead: 47424. Miss Trent’s ingenuity had pieced it together. Gumshoe had no head for numbers and codes. He mostly just smiled and nodded. But maybe smiling and nodding was enough to help her work her magic, for as he guided the number with his thumb he heard a faint ‘click!’
The briefcase opened,
Oh my god. Trent. Look at this.
It was dogreat timesents. Papers. Verifiably, Gumshoe’s least favorite part of sleuthing. But these… these were interesting. The one on the top looked like…
A certificate of agency. Trent, we signed one of these when we joined! This is a membership paper for… The Gentlemen’s Club! Made out for one Agent Ramirez. And for… October 18, 2013? There… is no Agent Ramirez in the TGC. This is… my god… (view post) |

The Calm Before The StormIt was a hot, humid night on the streets of Mapsterdale, a city that hides its secrets well and its matters of public record better. The kind of hot night that makes everyone too crazy to care and too tired to do anything about it. Robots, rampaging robots walked the streets, bumaulting random pbumerby. Demons and male reproductive organatrice-freaks held parley on the casual matter of the future of mankind, and Inspector Gumshoe of the Gentlemens Club enjoyed his cigarette.
He had a feeling that over the next week, the next couple of weeks, things would be going from crazy to homicidal psychopathic. It was this feeling that kept him awake. It kept him trying to find the connection. Brainfreeze was suspected of murder. It was an obvious frame-up, but they were building an army. Why? Murderousness was, well, murdered on a public highway. An obvious bid for attention. Why? What did anyone have to gain by killing INCIT addicts… nobodies, really. What did anyone have to gain by sending the robots into a revolt that could eventually destroy even themselves- he doubted any of them truly had the foresight to plan out their energy consumption into the deep future. All of this had been set up… everyone on the scene was a patsy in one way, shape or form. He could feel it. But why? Who stands to gain?
For now, Inspector Gumshoe was left with his smoke and his unanswered questions and the unbearable heat. Soon, the future would be cold. (view post) |

Urgent note to the Gentlemens ClubIt looked like the acid trip of a stoner that had watched Dark Side of Oz one time too many. The Monkatrice was a hard thing to trust.
Exactly what do you have to lose if this scenario plays out? Seems to me that there’s no problem.
...in fact… if Monkey in a suit with a Demon dies, isn’t that a paradox? Does he have to, at some point, be returned to the point of space/time that leads to your creation? If we DO stop the demon, doesn’t that risk canceling out your existence? Burning the candle at both ends, aren’t you? (view post) |
