	How chocolate scoops are awarded This change would encourage quantity over quality. I mean, if one were to submit five mediocre ideas they might get 5-10 scoops, just for not being disqualified. If they want to play in the individual brackets for that week, then they won’t be considered in raids. Seems like a good idea. That would increase the effectiveness of the last minute Modest Improvement spree (which has NOTHING to do with skill) even more. Someone suggested to get rid of both Shields and bumholes and the idea is growing on me. But maybe we just need to dilute the card pool a bit. Just put a couple of cards in (there’s a crapload of suggestions out there to work with) that are not bumholes, Shields or MIs and we may see some tactics other than diving down in scoops the moment you get them, get MIs and shields and start using MIs as fast as possible in the last minutesLog in to see images! Last-minute Modest Improvement sprees are just a way of countering early-game nuking. Otherwise, no one in their right mind would spend 4 scoops just to get 2. But since there’s so much crossfire, the MI strategy is becoming a lot more popular. Even if you double the card pool, or the cost of cards, people will still use the MI strategy rather than lose their scoops. They’ll just use half as many MIs. (view post)	06/04/2008
