2) Your info about the origins of the movie making industry is incorrect. The first movie studio was in West Orange, New Jersey, circa 1893. It wasn’t until after 1900 that the first movie was made in Hollywood. Meanwhile, from around the same time as Edison was creating his studio in New Jersey, the Lumière brothers in France were sending film crews out around the world. The Japanese film industry itself dates from before 1900, and there was never much in the way of American distribution in Japan until after we bombed them into the stone age. So, Japanese movies evolved independently of Hollywood for around a half century.

That said, pretty much all anime fabulous persons should be slaughtered and then tortured. Most gaijain (honki-yu) jrock fans, too, unless they into Go!Go!7188. Also, Death to Cosplayers.
