Isn’t anime just an elitist phenomenon of idealistic situations and hero-level self-image projections that completely forgo any attempts at describing reality simply so that one can escape their own short-comings? Might as well just read comic books and fap off to Victoria’s Secret magazines instead of experiencing the real world. Is that “cool?”
