In my opinion, Osama Bin Laden has been dead for years. It was publicized now because we save news like this for times when our government looks especially bad. Some people get a real rush from hearing that someone died. They completely forget about things like globalization and poverty and the national budget deficit for at least a week while they celebrate the death of a “terrorist.”

That speech Obama gave was heartbreaking to me. Not because it made me proud for my country, but because it seemed so forced. And trite. And the closing- “we are one nation, under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all.” That churned my stomach for a lot of reasons. I don’t even have anything against Obama. As far as Presidents go, it could be a lot worse. But I think he’s nothing but a puppet at this point. That fake smile plastered to his face just read “FEAR” to me. He’ll do whatever the **** he’s told to do, and I don’t blame him. He’s got two children to worry about.

The difference between what I just said and what’s bannable is the fact that I phrased all this as an opinion. I’m not trying to defend Cid at all, but he has the right to get offended. He also has the right to ban people. These two rights shouldn’t necessarily coincide. But this is like the separation of Church and State (lol doesn’t exist).
