Has a Search as well as an ”Improve” bumon when outside. Only one can be used in a zone. If he improves he will will auto-improve every two hours.

Improve grants a chance of:

1. Upgrading/crafting items in zone into more useful items.

Example: Log Plank (common) Iron n&b (rare).

2. 20% zone replenishment indicted by a bar/meter. The zone is still depleted at 80% replenishment, but once it reaches 100% it is replenished. (If replenished by search tower before it reaches a 100 it automatically goes to 100 and back to 0 when depleted.)

Any time he spends 4 ap in any project he receives a 5th point of construction free.

For every level 1 upgrade:

DF, UW, GP, +1 defense

ST/WS +1%

WT Accuracy of estimate +1%

Pump + 2 Rations

This is only for the first upgrade. If a town has two Technicians it will receive the bonus listed above again on the 2nd upgrade. If 3, again on the 3rd upgrade, etc. up to five. (Six or more Technicians provide no additional bonus.)
