Bobbo, I humbly suggest you go out and at least make it LOOK like you’re trying to find work, therefore trying to move out and finally live like a grown up. Go to Burger King or McDonald’s, ffs and bring home a job application, leave it out on the counter (or wherever) where your mom can see it. That might be all you need to do to get her to ease up a little. I doubt she actually wants you to move out, because if she did she would just throw you out. It’s more likely that she just doesn’t want to be your sole source of support anymore, seeing as you are a legal adult now. Show her you’re trying, I bet that’s all she wants to see.

Back when I was 16, I worked as a helper for my father for around 10 dollars an hour, he worked there as an engineer.. He didnt hire me, his boss did..
For 3 hours I wouldnt do ****, I would just watch TV, or play pool.. and they paid me 30 dollars for it everyday.. I worked 8 hours a ay, 3 of them doing nothing, the other 5 just walking around.. It was the best job I ever had..

Bob should just settle for any ****ty job..
