Shen Mue 1 blew my mind. I played the Japanese original on my imported Dreamcast and it was an unforgettable experience. Compared to contemporary sandbox games, you hardly had the freedom to actually move around the city, but for the time, it felt like something completely new. A shame that they ruined the Xbox port. Still hoping for a Shen Mue 3, don’t care about an online version though. |
