Also annoying: when you play through one of the scenarios, then it tacks some random “oh and also this happened” on the end, and inflicts random negatives onto already weak stats.

That mostly happened via those same boxes down the sides… I’d do the thing for which you get a choice of what to do, then it’d give me no choices about how to respond to the fact that something else had happened.
