Pretty much. Everybody who’s saying OH MY GOD THIS IS A GREAT THING doesn’t realize that they’re not going to be getting full health care coverage under an offshoot of medicaid until 2014 or just hasn’t read the bill at all.
And also leetlol, why do I care specifically about minorities? Am I supposed to give a **** that somebody’s black/spanish/whatever and also poor? There’s plenty of white people who are poor; given, there are a good amount of poor black and spanish people, but I don’t give a **** that they’re black or spanish; they’re just a person who happens to be poor, for whatever reason. What nobody seems to get is that just because you’re poor and can’t afford something doesn’t mean it’s the best idea to immediately fix it, and like I said, I have a feeling that this will just dig a deeper hole for America. |
