A very necessary month of the year, but the people who actually need to learn something from it are going to continue not caring. That’s America’s history in a nutshell: the most power has always belonged to the people who understand/care the least, be that white people on the whole or (perhaps more relevant in recent years) politicians and policy makers.

For all the people that want to whine about it, bear in mind that this month’s necessity would vanish completely if the education system actually taught genuine world history instead of the white supremacist cluster-**** that is currently the history curriculum in basically every American school.
