When Obi-Wan Kenobi was striked down by his former padawan Darth Vader in Episode IV, he indeed became more powerful than ever before; but he learned those techniques from Yoda and later when he lived in his exile on Tatooine (Yoda got them from Qui-Gon Jinn, as mentioned in Episode III).

So what I’m saying is, you are already a ghost, there’s no state you could transcend to – you’ll just be banned.
