You don’t even need a summary. You’ll be more engaged looking at a blank post for the ten minutes it would take to sort through all of the talk here.

I can’t say I’m really getting this contest, since when I signed up for Forumwarz I (like everyone else) had to sign a waiver that said something along the lines of, oh “I am not offended easily”. I don’t know what the “mainstream” people who populate this forum find insulting – I was expecting really potent venom, but it’s really been a mix of curses, non-sequiturs or cliches. Basically the stuff I’d expect to see in RP (if I browsed it), but now CelereySteve is saying that’s not insulting either.

I think the attacking of views was a good start, but we’ve sort of edged away from that into forumbuildr Angry Replies. So don’t mind me as I try to work a debate into this, historically that’s been the best way to get people to bare their fangs.

Congratulations, you’ve met society’s pitiful standards of excellence and given yourself a bloated sense of self-worth. That has no bearing on your position toward women. If you haven’t noticed, a majority of the world’s men “tolerate” women, and that same majority would be better recognized as “losers”. People who can’t escape their dead end jobs, who can’t do what they want, people without any real freedom.

You don’t see people in power treat women all that well because a good woman is impossible to find. They don’t exist anymore, at least in the United States. I don’t know about Canada, but my inner bumhurt has a profound respect for the Great White North so there are likely some good quality ones up there. You guys have a lot of fatties, though, or so I’ve heard. I wouldn’t be surprised if a large number of Canadian Forumwarz users have the fats, Canadians aren’t really reputed to be the fittest of the first world.

Religion instills a preset package of morals and viewpoints. There’s a lot of BS in religion, but the practical aspect is really a prescription for a good society. Common sense stuff like, “not killing random people on the street because they looked at you funny” wouldn’t really exist in a nation where people don’t self-regulate their own behaviour. RP is a fine example of this.

God is an overgrown metaphor to teach those morals to kids, and overtime God has taken precedence over the morals themselves. Religion is still important for preserving the morals because nothing else fulfills that roll.
