Some people take great pleasure, in the weeks when they don’t have a shot at a medal, in turning in all their scoops for cards and blitzing the board to shake things up and make it harder for anyone to maintain a lead.

Others form ad-hoc alliances to try to tie for a medal instead of competing with each other or on a reciprocal basis (helping someone one week for the promise of help in another week). Further others will know each other and co-operate on that basis, or have klan allegiances to go by.

All of the above comes under “just part of the game”. If your scoop stack can’t stand up to the inevitable wave of attack cards, then you don’t win. I suggest buying more Shields.
