I have three recommendations:

• INCIT should help prior winners avoid self-plagiarization by showing them their prior wins. (Some of us have more than 10 wins and the short recycle time makes it easy to submit on a given pic many, many times.)
• Ban banners (I.e., the banners on profile pages announcing “B&”ness) should link to definitions of bans, which page should link to the rules. (Why would a noob know the difference between a community or full ban? And how would a noob know that a hellban is not a moderator schtick?)
• Bans for INCIT self-plagiarism should be renamed “Flying Shark” bans, for the first instance of their use (q.v. MercWithMouth’s recent community ban).

1. since there’s only like 10 incit pics I don’t see how you would get confused at all.

2. a ban is a ban. If you broke the rules then that’s that. Also a hellban isn’t a real ban (someone who has you on “ignore” isn’t actually banning)

3. Hey.. how about a PEEN for doing something like this? THAT is surely a GOOD IDEA.
