Ummm you could try resetting Firefox, maybe. It deletes all your settings and everything, though:

Put firefox.exe -profilemanager in the command prompt (run).

Then it has 3 bumons and one is delete. It asks if you want to save your files, so you can say yes. I haven’t had to do it before.

Going to bed for now. Will try this in the morning.
