Dumpvoting isn’t something that’s easily stopped, but the game COULD be altered to not reward it.

My proposal: Instead of giving 1 Log in to see images! for WINNING a round of INCIT, change the scoop system to resemble forum/item buildr’s scoop system – 1 scoop for every 5 upvotes. This way, the game actually rewards people for being funny. Unfunny entries that win by dumpvoting generally don’t get upvoted as much as the actually funny entries, so this system may actually work.

Downvoting isn’t really an issue. INCIT wins don’t get deleted in downvote frenzies afaik, so the funny entries are always there to vote on (the best ones would already be at the top anyway)
