The universe being created requires something extant apart from the universe. And, ontologically speaking, this is meaningless. Existence requires the universe as the metaphysical primary. It is, in essence, existence itself. It is the framework in which there is that which is. To demand something apart from the framework is to give up on not only explanation, but coherence and intelligibility. |
