Guess Galileo was very special then.

When it comes to “radical thinkers” there are 2 kinds – one kind consists of the Newtons, Einsteins and Galileos, who come up with what seems like a wack job theory, but have the evidence to eventually convince the sceptics that they’re right, at which point all the old theories have to be revised in the light of new evidence and the “wack job” is hailed as a genius.

Unless the church of the day male reproductive organblocks you and forces you to recant, then you have to leave it to history to point out what a genius you were.

The other kind comes up with a wack job theory then posts about it in the comments of unrelated Youtube videos, complains constantly about an evil conspiracy of “Big Science/Pharma/Oil” keeping their amazing discovery under wraps, never actually publishes their work or lets anyone try to replicate it and generally makes an bum of themselves.

Then as a clbum aside from the “radical” thinkers, are biblical literalists, who take on faith the contents of a book written thousands of years ago by barely literate Jewish tribesmen, and henceforth forever bumume that its contents are perfect, accurate descriptions of everything in the universe, and any evidence to the contrary is either a lie, another conspiracy theory, the work of satan or all 3 of the above.
