Actually “Allah” is presumed to be the god of the muslims, however allah is just the arabic word for god. The christian god, the jewish god, and the muslim god are thought to be the same god that takes its roots from an old jewish war god called Yahweh.

The way I heard it, the old hebrew spelling doesn’t have any vowels in it (because that was how they rolled), and depending on how you fill the spaces between the consonants you can end up with different pronunciations, like Jehovah, Yahweh or Allah.
